About Samurai
Made with Xara
The team was formed in late 2005 from essentially a group of rookie tournament players with very limited
experience. Many of our original players had no tournament experience and some had only been playing ‘ball
for 6 months! We soon learnt our lessons and took home the 3rd place trophy from the last leg of NSPL ’05!
In 2006 we started training up by playing the SE Village events at Ashford and held a number of training
events (run by pro-players) to get us ready for the 2006 NSPL Season! We then played the Euro 5 Man
Championships 2006 again making the quarter finals as well as making our Millennium Series debut at
Campaign Cup '06!!!
In 2007 Samurai hit the ground running winning the first leg of the NSPL in Division 1. The season held plenty of controversy but
through consistent results Samurai were able to finish in 2nd only 4points shy of the league champions. 2007 also saw the
creation of Samurai MV, in memory of Martin Vipas.
After narrowly missing out on the ‘07 series title, Samurai entered the 2008 Millennium Series playing the first event in Malaga.
Unfortunately the team lost several players and were unable to complete the season. Samurai MV and the newly formed
Samurai Rage went from strength to strength and continued to play domestically in the UK Southern Masters throughout 2009.
In 2010 Samurai MV won the UK Southern Masters Series Title earning entry to the Shoot the Rainbow event where they took
2nd Place with style! In 2011 Samurai MV continued playing the UK Southern Masters taking 2nd place in the Series!
All the Samurai Teams continue to play domestic events with Samurai, Samurai MV, Samurai Rage and Samurai Topcats all
competing in the UK Southern Masters, and Samurai CPC competing in the CPC events.
We’re always looking for new players to expand our squad. All we ask in return is that you put in the effort & commitment
required for us to acheive our goals!! We help all our players develop the skills they need to play through regular training days,
to help them to progress in the sport. As a team we play to win, but also to enjoy it! Hence whatever your level of experience
you’ll find a friendly yet challenging environment in which to play!
Samurai Paintball consists of five teams
including: Samurai, Samurai MV, Samurai
Rage, Samurai CPC and Samurai Topcats.
