To see out the year Samurai held their Team Dinner & Awards Evening at the K2 Restaurant.

Awards were handed out to all the Division 1 players who'd put so much work into their training and throughly deserved all the acheivements we've had as a team this year. Special awards were handed out to Samurai Blue/ Darren, The Pink One/Phil, our own Rasta Gansta/Alex and also to Headband Ben who will be joining Samurai next season from Samurai MV.

We're also happy to welcome Marco, former captain of Portsmouth Halloween to our ranks.

It was a great evening - good food, plenty of drink and laughs! I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the whole team personally for my own surprise gift/trophy.

Samurai have had a great year, despite the odd controversy, and have grown from strength to strength. From 2005 when 5 of us scrabbled for guests to play the last D7's 7man tournament, we've come a long way to running two teams of 10 players, both of which are consistently acheiving and exceeding their goals - as well as having fun doing it!
